While CBS hasn’t officially announced a renewal for Two and a Half Men, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said they definitely want a Season 11.

She also said none of the castmembers have signed on for another season, including Sheen’s replacement, Ashton Kutcher.

And what about Angus T. Jones? He didn’t do himself any favors by saying on a video-gone-viral that he thought the hit series is “filth” and urged viewers not to watch it.

Well, CBS seems to feel that’s all water under the bridge. “We’d like him to be part of it next year,” Tassler told reporters at Saturday’s Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena.

“I think he would like to come back too, we would like him to… He made his public apology, and we’ve moved on,” she continued. “And we’d like the show back, and we’d like him to come back too.”

Jones, 19, who has been on the show for 10 seasons, issued the apology to Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and the show’s stars shortly after the video leaked in November.

Earlier this week, Sheen, who was fired from the show last year after a public meltdown and feud with Lorre, said that he understands Jones.

“I get it, it’s a weird place and people tend to have a different perspective on life working over there,” Sheen, who has moved on to star on FX’s Anger Management, said at TCA.

“[Jones] is a good kid and maybe he’s just going through a phase, but it’s hard to comment on something if I’m not there . . . I don’t think he’s crazy, I just think he’s a little maybe over-influenced in some other beliefs.”

Since his character joined the military, Jones’ shooting schedule has been reduced. His girlfriend, Stalker Sarah, told Celebuzz that he’d like to free up his schedule to attend college.

CBS Boss Calls Angus T. Jones ‘Two and a Half Men’ Debacle ‘a Piece of Cake’ Compared to Charlie Sheen

Angus T. Jones definitely found himself in a whirlwind of controversy after a video surfaced in which he called Two and a Half Men “filth” and urged viewers to stop watching.

Since then, Jones issued an apology to his co-workers and Charlie Sheen has remarked that his former co-star “is not the same guy” he knew. After the network stayed mum on the incident, CBS’ top boss is speaking up, Fishbowl LA reports.

“I don’t know what our status is with him,” CBS Corp.’s President and CEO Les Moonves said of Jones at a Wall Street Journal event in New York.

And although his future with the show is up in the air, Moonves said, “He is still collecting his $300,000 a week.”

That’s not to say that things could change for the actor. According to his girlfriend, an internet personality known as Stalker Sarah, Jones intends this season to be his last.

Faced with the possibility that Jones’ comments may hurt the highly rated sitcom, Moonves remarked, “We have other plans, I don’t think it has quite been resolved, but after going through Charlie Sheen, I think this is a piece of cake.”

Sheen’s very public food with Two and a Half Men showrunner Chuck Lorre ended with his termination in March 2011.

Jones has played Jake Harper on the CBS series since 2003. He has won two Young Artist Awards and a TV Land Award for the role.

Angus T. Jones: Five Ways ‘Two and a Half Men’ Could Write the Badmouthing Star Off the Show (VIDEO)

In his now-infamous YouTube video, Angus T. Jones said he didn’t want to be on CBS’ Two and a Half Men anymore because the religiously-minded actor thinks the show is “filth” — and he may yet get his wish.

Though The Hollywood Reporter is citing sources saying Jones plans to finish out his contract and remain with the show to the end of the season, it’s possible producers could fire him for his disparaging behavior, much like they did Charlie Sheen two years ago.

Jones may not miss the show: His girlfriend, the Hollywood hanger-on known as “Stalker Sarah,” told Celebuzz that the 19-year-old had been itching to quit anyway in order to go to college and that the show is expected to end after the current tenth season anyway. But if the producers do decide to fire him early, they’ll face the dilemma of how to write Jones’ Jake Harper off the show.

Here are some possible scenarios.

1. Kill Him. That’s how they got rid of Sheen’s character, so you can’t put it past the Men team to do the same with Jake. It wouldn’t be hard; he is, after all, a recent Army enlistee. Then again, Charlie Harper was an aging reprobate with a history of bad behavior, so there was some karmic appropriateness to his demise. Jake is just a stupid kid. Killing him may be too cruel — or too real — even for this show.

2. Replace Him. Not with another actor (the Bewitched/Roseanne gambit doesn’t really work anymore) but with a similar character. Again, that’s sort of what they did when they replaced Sheen with Ashton Kutcher. Of course, it’s rare for a show to get away with that move twice, though Cheers did it twice, M*A*S*H did it three times, and ER (not a sitcom, of course) did it many times. It’s far from clear that Men fans have such an emotional attachment to any of the characters that they would be outraged to see them replaced.

3. Send Him Away. Jake has shown talent as a chef and a propensity for Jackass-like extreme stunts. Give him a career in either of those fields, and he can always be too busy traveling to appear on the show. Or have him date Rose’s (Melanie Lynskey) niece; maybe she’s a stalker just like her aunt (who hounded Charlie Harper to his death and sank her clutches into Kutcher’s naive Walden this season). And given that Jones is currently dating a teen known as Stalker Sarah, there’d be a shiver of the art-imitates-life meta-ness that the show has always thrived on.

4. End the Show. Not likely, since Men remains the third highest-rated comedy on TV (after The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family). Still, it’s an expensive show to produce (given its three top-earning stars), it’s generally assumed to be past its creative peak (no surprise, after 10 seasons), and it could be more headache than it’s worth.

5. Do nothing. Jake’s hardly on the show now anyway. His interaction with the other characters usually amounts to little more than one scene a week of Jake calling in from the Army base via Skype. (Yep, Jones is literally phoning in his performance.) It wouldn’t be hard for Jake to become just an unheard voice on the other end of the phone, someone often referred to but never seen, like Vera on Cheers, Maris on Frasier, or Stan on Will & Grace. If everyone involved in Men, both in front of and behind the camera, wants to save face, this might be the way to do it.

Miley Cyrus Could Replace Angus T. Jones on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ Says Production Insider (EXCLUSIVE)

Two and a Half Men may be adding a super-famous woman to its cast.

Sources from the set of the top-rated CBS sitcom tell Celebuzz exclusively that Miley Cyrus is being eyed as a potential replacement for Angus T. Jones after the actor openly called the show “filth” on YouTube.

“There are talks to replace Angus and the perfect person would be Miley Cyrus,” the insider revealed. “The episodes that she appeared on brought in the highest ratings of the season. One possibility is that she could easily be written into the show to go to college.”

Cyrus earned rave reviews for her two-episode gig on the show, in which she played Missi, the daughter of a friend of Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) who has a brief romance with Jake (Jones).

Those who worked with her on set, including Kutcher, were especially impressed by her work ethic, which will only work in Cyrus’ favor, according to the insider.

“When she was on set she, was pleasant and very enjoyable to work with,” they said. “She won everyone over. Now the whispers are growing louder. People involved in the show want Miley to replace Angus.”

On Monday, a video in which Jones urged fans to stop watching Two and a Half Men, went viral on YouTube, saddling the Emmy-winning comedy with yet another behind-the-scenes controversy.

“I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth,” he said in a religious testimonial for the website Forerunner Chronicles.

“People say it’s just entertainment,” the 19-year-old, who has since apologized for his remarks, continued. “Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on the television. It’s bad news.”

The rant was eerily similar to the disparaging comments Charlie Sheen made about the show and its creator, Chuck Lorre, in 2011, which led him to be fired and replaced by Kutcher shortly after.

Now, insiders say that production has been thrown out of whack, leaving Jones’ future with the show in jeopardy.

“Production staff has been scrambling after his recent antics were publicized against the show,” another insider said of Jones, who isn’t scheduled to appear in an episode that tapes this week. “Everyone was nervous and upset not knowing what would happen next.”

Angus T. Jones’ Girlfriend ‘Stalker Sarah’: YouTube Video Was Only Meant for Actor’s Young Fans (EXCLUSIVE)

A YouTube video in which actor Angus T. Jones openly refers to Two and a Half Men as “filth” was never meant to be seen by a mass audience, according to the actor’s girlfriend, “Stalker Sarah.”

“It wasn’t meant for the whole world. He didn’t mean for it to come across for all people not to watch the show,” she said of the video, which has been viewed over 2 million times since it was posted on Nov. 26.

“He was just talking to the younger fans who are studying the Bible and that they shouldn’t be watching a half hour of dirty jokes if they’re starting they’re walk with God,” she added. “He loves the show, he loves everyone and has a lot of fun. And he has a lot of fun talking to them about the Church and the Bible.”

Since the video went viral, many wondered if Jones — who has since apologized for his actions — would suffer the same fate as his former co-star, Charlie Sheen, who was fired from Men in 2011 over disparaging comments made about series creator Chuck Lorre.

Even if there was a fallout, Sarah insists it wouldn’t have done much damage to the show, as there were already plans to end it after its current 10th season.

“I don’t think anything is changing,” Sarah said. “That was originally the plan, that this was going to be the last season,” she said, adding that Jones had already been informed of this.

“Not just his last season, but for the whole show,” she clarified.

“Originally, he didn’t know if he was even going to be back to Season 10, because he thought about going to college,” she added.

Sarah adds that Jones, 19, whom she refers to as her “best friend,” is “doing fine” and is currently “hanging out with family” as the scandal dies down.

Also featured in the video is Christopher Hudson, a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor and founder of the website The ForeRunner Chronicleswho has become a controversial figure for his outspoken comments against President Obama, gay marriage and other hot-button issues.

Despite the connection, Sarah insists Jones and Hudson’s relationship isn’t much of anything at all.

“Angus met him once, they did a video together in a short amount of time. He doesn’t have anything to do with our church and no one from our church knows who he is,” she said.

“Angus does a lot of research on the internet and comes across a lot of people. He watched his video and the guy wanted to meet him,” she added.

As Celebuzz exclusively reported, Jones began dating Sarah — an Internet sensation known for posing with many A-list celebrities — late last year after the pair met through family.

‘Two and a Half Men’ Star Angus T. Jones Dating ‘Stalker Sarah,’ Teen Fan Who Poses With Hollywood Stars (EXCLUSIVE)

Embattled Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones – who is under fire for labeling the CBS ratings juggernaut “filth” and urging viewers not to watch the show – is dating internet sensation “Stalker Sarah,” the teen fan who has posed with hundreds of Hollywood stars.

Multiple sources have confirmed to Celebuzz that the romance began late last year after the pair met through family.

“He reached out to her dad and asked to be introduced to her,” one source said. “She was brought onto the [Two and a Half Men] set and that’s how they know each other.”

According to those close to the couple, Jones, 19, and Sarah, 17, also attend the same church in Toluca Lake, Calif. — where the young superfan resides.

It was that Christian church which posted the video in which the child star noted his desire to no longer be part of Two and a Half Men.

“I don’t think her dad knows the extent of their relationship,” our source told us. “She isn’t shy about talking about the relationship, but doesn’t post kissing pictures. She only posts their goofy pictures, but she does call him her boyfriend.”

“Stalker Sarah” — who also goes by the moniker Sarah M — rose to viral fame after amassing over 5,000 photos of herself with numerous Hollywood A-listers, including Brad Pitt, Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey.

In May, Sarah opened up about her unlikely hobby on Good Morning America, admitting that it all started during an outing with her father when she spotted actor Robert Hays.

“I knew him [Hays] as the dad from Homeward Bound. My dad liked Airplane and he happened to have a camera in the car so I took a picture with him,” she said.

Since then, Sarah has been snapped with big name celebs such as Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie, with her father driving her to each star-studded event.

“As long as I got straight A’s in school he would take me to every event that he possibly could,” she explained. “I got straight A’s and he had to keep that deal.”

Meanwhile, her beau Jones skyrocketed to fame thanks to his ongoing role of Jake Harper on Two and a Half Men, playing co-star Jon Cryer‘s onscreen son.

A video of Jones criticizing his own show surfaced this week, in which the child actor deemed the series as “filth.”

“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men,” said Jones in a religious testimonial on YouTube for Forerunner Chronicles. “I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth.”

He has since released a statement addressing his controversial comments, saying:

I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.

Angus T. Jones Issues Apology for Slamming ‘Two and a Half Men’ in Religious Video

Plenty of news stories have been born from a video that surfaced on Monday featuring Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones calling his show “filth” and imploring viewers to stop watching the CBS comedy.

The star has apparently seen the light and issued an apology for the comments. “While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear,” the 19-year-old tells Deadline via a statement.

“Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked over the past 10 years and who have become an extension of my family,” he continued.

There has been plenty of speculation over the star’s videotaped interview with Christian group, Forerunner Chronicles, Angus’ seemingly extreme religious beliefs as a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the statements he had made about the show that made him a star – not to mention quite wealthy at a reported $300,000 an episode.

Former co-star Charlie Sheen, who himself had a much-publicized feud with the comedy’s showrunner Chuck Lorrebefore being fired in March 2011 weighed in on Jones’ video on Tuesday.

“With Angus’ Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed,” Sheen, 47, told People.

Showing much more respect for his colleagues and the show’s producers than Sheen had during his blowout, Jones states, “I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.”

Jones has played Jake Harper on the CBS series since 2003. He has won two Young Artist Awards and a TV Land Award for the role.

‘Two and a Half Men’ Star Angus T. Jones Urges Viewers to Stop Watching His Show, Calls It ‘Filth’ (VIDEO)

Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake, on CBS’ hugely successful comedy, Two and a Half Men, is telling viewers to stop watching his show.

The 19-year-old actor, then continued saying, “People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on the television. It’s bad news.”

“I don’t know if it means any more coming from me, but you might not have heard it otherwise,” added Jones.

This isn’t the first time the Chuck Lorre-produced CBS sitcom has had its hands in controversy. Former Men star, Charlie Sheen was booted from the show after his very public meltdown, including a stint in rehab, in 2011. In one interview with Today, he had demanded $3 million dollars per episode for his role as Charlie Harper on the comedy.

CBS declined Celebuzz’s request for comment.

Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash Resigns From ‘Sesame Street’; Starz Cancels ‘Boss’

Kelsey Grammer’s Boss, which airs on Starz, is being cancelled. The drama about a vindictive Chicago Mayor who was afflicted with a neurological disease ran for two seasons. The series’ cancellation makes way for three original series from the cable network next year including Da Vinci’s Demons, the final season of Spartacus and the second season of Magic City. Black Sails, a pirate drama from Jerry Bruckheimer will come to the network in 2014. [EW]

Kevin Clash has resigned from PBS’ Sesame Street. The voice behind Elmo has decided that the distraction, provided by a recent scandal in which an unidentified man claimed he had a sexual relationship with him when he was underage, has made it so he cannot be effective in his job. The unidentified man later recanted his statements. Clash voiced the friendly red muppet for 28 years. In a statement, Sesame Street workshop said, “This is a sad day for Sesame Street.” [Deadline]

It looks like CBS’ decision to cancel Partners was the right move as the network’s airing of a repeat of Two and a Half Men garnered 6.4 million total viewers – a 17 percent increase over the canceled comedy. Fellow CBS sitcom, 2 Broke Girls, also saw an increase in ratings by six percent. ABC’s Dancing With the Stars saw the night’s largest audience with 14.1 million viewers. Meanwhile, NBC’s The Voice fell 16 percent in the ratings, but led the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic despite performing at a season low. [TVLine]

Miley Cyrus ‘Can’t Shut Up’ in New ‘Two and a Half Men’ Sneak Peek (VIDEO)

CBS just released a sneak peek of guest star Miley Cyrus on its hit comedy, Two and a Half Men.

Cyrus plays Missi (short for Mississippi – “the river, not the state” – as we learn in the previw), a friend Ashton Kutcher’s Walden.

Over her two-episode guest stint, Cyrus’ Missi will come to stay with Walden and Alan (Jon Cryer) for a few days in Los Angeles. And in an “he’s all grown up” alert, she will date Alan’s son Jake (Angus T. Jones), who is on leave from the Army.

What does Cyrus say of her character on Two and a Half Men?

On Friday, the 19-year-old actress appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show and joked with Jay Leno, “I play someone who can’t shut up, [and] I had to do a lot of character building. I had to go deep on that.”

Backstage at this year’s Emmys, Cryer told reporters that the guest star went all the way through to dress rehearsals using the script, which worried him at first.

“Then, we did it in front of the audience, Miley brought it,” he said. “Miley was just on fire, did fantastic. Then, I remembered, ‘Oh, yes, she was actually hatched in the Disney labs in Burbank and grown for just this sitcom situation.’”

Two and Half Men airs Thursdays at 8:30 PM on CBS.

Watch motormouth Missi in the sneak peek video above. And below, watch her interview on The Tonight Show.
