Rihanna Praises Racheal Dolzel as Being ‘ A Hero’

rhianna vanityfair

The name Racheal Dolzel may not be familiar to you or you may not recall it. Rachel is the 37 year old white female who is famed for pretending to be black and is now being called a hero by pop singer Rihanna. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Rihanna rightly asks…’Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is great thing.’ We couldn’t agree more RiRi.

Rihanna goes on to describe the former NAACP leader as being smart enough to deceive on the masses…’because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,’.

Whilst I agree that the outrage is disproportionate to the lie It is somewhat of an insult to suggest that all it takes to be black is have darker skin and have ‘kinky’ hair. In a clip below Rachel talks about how her hair looks the way it does…though I think we can agree it is pretty obvious.

Beyonce vs. Rihanna: Who Has the Sexiest GQ Cover? – Readers Poll

Beyonce GQ Cover Rihanna GQ Cover
GQ (2)

Somebody get us a cold towel, because we are burning up from looking at these pictures of Beyonce and Rihanna! Both of the R&B beauties shed their clothes for the cover of GQ, with Rihanna taking off a little bit more than the barely covered Beyonce.

It’s obvious that both of these incredibly beautiful women look beyond bangin’, but which GQ cover do you find the sexiest? Beyonce’s Feb. 2013, ‘Sexiest Women of the 21st Century’ cover, or Rihanna’s photo on the ‘Men of the Year’ issue from Nov. 2012?

Beyonce’s GQ cover coincides with her Super Bowl XLVII performance, hence the cropped jersey. Beyonce is never shy about flaunting her figure, but she usually tends to keep covered for the most part, so we had to do a double take when we first saw this photo. Her arms are raised above her head, giving us a tiny glimpse of some under-boob, with her fit abs on full display. Bey’s thighs are also out of this world, and her hips are accentuated with a gold chain and her teeny-weeny, black and red panties.

Meanwhile, Rihanna took everything except her leather jacket off for her smokin’ hot GQ cover in late 2012. If you’ve taken a look at her Instagram feed lately, you probably know that the ‘Cockiness’ singer loves showing off her naked bod, so this mag cover shoot must’ve been a cinch for her. Her naked chest is covered just enough to prevent any nip slippage, and her hands are the only thing covering up her most private of lady parts. We really can see Rihanna’s amazing, hourglass shape here, and her tats make her look even more bada–.

It’s a tough choice, but who do you think had the sexiest GQ cover? Vote Beyonce or Rihanna below!

It’s hard to stay confident when you’re constantly being scrutinized.

But some celebs don’t let Hollywood’s expectations affect their self-esteem, looking good — and feeling great — whatever their shape.

From Kim Kardashian, to Tyra Banks, these two television stars are a pair who have learned to embrace their curves. The latter, CW’s America’s Next Top Model star, is even proud to teach young girls the importance of  loving themselves and accepting their body flaws.

British songstress Leona Lewis, 27, has also opened up about weight woes.

“I wouldn’t lose weight for my career… and I wouldn’t have surgery either,” she told Closer magazine.

“I’m happy in my own skin. You have to be healthy and I’m proud of my curves. If I even tried to be a size zero I’d probably be dead. I’m too tall to be a stick-thin girl.”

What other A-listers are comfortable in their own skin?

Kate Hudson, 33, told UK’s The Telegraph, “I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect. The imperfections are there,” continuing, “People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once.”

Similar to Hudson, Christina Hendricks embraces her differences.

The Mad Men star, 37, told Grazia magazine, “I love my body as it is. People in the industry have been telling me to lose weight for years but I like the way I look.”

She added, “I give credit for my mother for helping me feel good about my appearance – for making sure I never felt embarrassed about my body, because she was never worried about looking too big.

“I started out as a model and when I went to Italy to build my book I gained 15 pounds from all the pastas and cappuccinos,” Hendricks said, continuing, “I saw my body change and I loved how it changed my appearance and how it made me look more womanly and sexy.”

Will Rihanna + Chris Brown Perform Together at the 2013 Grammys?

Talk about returning to the scene of the crime. Rumor has it that Chris Brown and Rihanna will have their coming out party at the 2013 Grammys and that they want to perform together.

Back in 2009, on the eve of that year’s Grammys, Breezy beat the crap out of Rihanna when they were officially a couple. They canceled their appearance and eventually broke up, which is why so many people are anti-ChRihanna, V.2.

The couple has been coy about the status of their relationship, although taking in Lakers games and sharing Instagram photos while in bed pretty much screams “WE ARE BACK TOGETHER.”

“Chris wants to perform with Rihanna at the Grammys to show the whole world they are back together,” a source told RadarOnline. “Chris doesn’t care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna.”

Breezy, who’s reputation has taken a beating since he got violent with RiRi, wants to use the perf to show he has turned over a new leaf and show why Ri has taken him back after he used her face as a punching bag.If this does indeed go down, it’d be a showstopper.

“He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man,” the source said. “If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago,” the insider said.

The producers have yet to give their blessing on such a performance. The issue is a delicate one, since it involves domestic abuse. But the producers also know that it could be a ratings goldmine. Who wouldn’t tune in to see that?

Stay tuned, ChRihanna watchers. This is bound to get even more interesting.

Rihanna Shows Off New Long Hair

Dominik Bindi, Getty Images

Rihanna was out and about in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 6 and no, she didn’t Instagram any topless or overly sexy shots. Instead, the singer, who hung out at the My Studio nightclub, showed off a brand new hairstyle. She traded her short, black pixie, which shows off all of her facial features, for a long, silky, ombre look. She often has long hair courtesy of extensions, but the color here is super standout.

RiRi, 24, is now sporting straight, dark brown strands with significantly lighter tips. It’s still shaved on the side aka Skrillex hair, but overall, it’s a long, lush and femme look.

Don’t get used to it, though. RiRi is unpredictable when it comes to her coif and she changes it often, so she could easily go back to her close-cropped ‘do or go with an extremely curly wig or a blonde shag. Oh wait, those are looks she sported in the past year and beyond.

The only constant when it comes to Rihanna’s coif is change.

We wonder what her beau Chris Brown thinks of this longer, sexier look!

Ah, forget what he thinks. We want to know what you think, PopCrushers! Is RiRi’s new hairstyle doing it for you or do you prefer her shorter and sexier?

Did Jessie J Throw Shade at Rihanna on Twitter?

It seems like not a day goes by that Rihanna isn’t embroiled in some sort of Twitter drama, but it turns out the latest installment of it isn’t her fault. Jessie J was believed to have been mocking the Bajan beauty over the microblogging site, which didn’t sit well with the Rihanna Navy.

In a series of since deleted tweets, Jessie J not-so-subtly judged people who pose nude on Instagram and who also post photos of themselves smoking. Sound like anyone familiar?

“I’m bored… Maybe I should get naked and smoke and take pictures of myself and post them on instagram? Or NOT… *rolls eyes*,” Jessie wrote (via Entertainment Wise). While a lot of people do those things, it’s hard not to think it was at least a little bit pointed, right?

Rihanna’s fans responded furiously, writing, “So I used to really like and respect @JessieJ but I no longer do.” Another posted, “Jessie j should stay in her lane, who is she to be sending for rihanna lol?” Ouch on all counts!

Jessie was quick to backpedal away from her comments and deny that they were aimed at any starlet specifically. “Hahaha my TL is hilarious. My last tweet about Instagram sadly wasn’t an indirect at anyone in particular,” she wrote. ”There is definitely more than 1 person posting those kind of pictures. Hence my tweet.”

She added, ”I’m going to be honest. My tweet about Instagram was NOT aimed at anyone in particular. But I will openly say the amount of pictures including men and woman nude and girls and guys promoting smoking drugs on the internet these days is a lot,” she vented. “Feels like the boundaries are disappearing. It’s become fashionable and in my opinion its too much. Call me what you want but that’s MY opinion and I’m entitled to one.”

While Jessie’s entitled to her opinion, fans and followers are entitled, similarly, to interpret her subtweets however they see fit. And in this case, they did seem pretty well aimed at RiRi.

For her part, Rihanna hasn’t commented — which is a refreshing, more mature side of the songstress. Maybe if she showed maturity more often, Jessie wouldn’t have anything to say about her!

Chris Brown Dumps Karrueche Tran for Rihanna Again

Another day, another dramatic (or not-so-dramatic) turn in the RihannaChris Brown-Karrueche Tran love triangle. The latest? Apparently Breezy is letting Tran go in favor of the Bajan superstar, with whom he rang in 2013.

“He’s curled up with Ri and he been with her this whole time this month and he’s dedicated to her,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He’s trying to do the right thing with her and want to be right by her too. He’s just trying to be a good man this year and so far he’s doing that.”

Keep in mind, this month is only a week in. This can all change anytime!

“Rihanna wants to spend everyday in January with him in 2013 because she thinks that will cement their relationship,” the decidedly not well-spoken source said. “She be on that whole sentimental stuff all the time … Karrueche was always good people to him and treated his a– like a king 24-7, but he’s on Rihanna hard right now so I guess K.T. realizes that and she’s falling back.”

Still, Tran apparently isn’t too bothered by any of this. “Chris is always going to be somebody she loves and cares about,” a source said. “At the end of the day, they still have a connection and they still tied up in their own way. If he’s in love with the other girl, so be it! Kae isn’t desperate at all. That’s not how she rolls and that’s not [a] good look for her or any woman for that matter.”

Of course, the reason she harbors little ill will may be because Brown sort of made her a kept woman.

“No shade, but he hooked her up with a lot and put her on the map with her fashions and for the most part he came correct to her and was honest and never lied,” the source said. “So for that, he ain’t all that bad.”

Still, is it a good look to constantly have to share a dude with someone else? Let him go!
