The Twilight Breaking Dawn — Part 2 premiere wasn’t Monday’s only red carpet fashion event.

On the other coast, A-listers celebrated women of style and substance at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Awards in New York City. At the magazine’s annual fete, the red carpet was filled with today’s top tastemakers — and their fabulous fashions.

Honorees Selena Gomez,  Lena Dunham, and J.Crew’s Jenna Lyons, as well as a bevy of A-list presenters and guests, including Julianna Margulies, Tyra Banks, Chelsea Clinton, made a fashionable appearance, as the magazine honored women who made a difference in 2012.

While sheer, emerald and oxblood lips were the red carpet’s top trends at the Twilight premiere, the fashion at Glamour‘s big red carpet event was far more eclectic, with the night’s leading ladies showing off their unique personal styles.


From sheer and lace to tuxedo pants and geometric prints, this fete was all about fearless females — and fashion.

Best of 2012 Toronto Film Festival Fashion (GALLERY)

The stars have headed north of the border for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this week, bringing some serious style power with them.

With fashion powerhouses Gwyneth Paltrow, Keira Knightley and Kate Hudson the red carpet fashion is sure to be good.

And this year, Hollywood’s new crop of style stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins and Emma Watson are keeping the red carpet interesting with their cool, fresh style.

With amazing new looks cropping up daily at the film festival, picking just one favorite would be a challenge. But some of our favorite TIFF trends include the long-sleeve white dresses spotted on Kate Hudson, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jennifer Lawrence; the unique floral prints that Emma Watson and Lily Collins, among others, were spotted in; and the black dresses — both short and long — that everyone from Petra Nemcova to Kate Hudson and Keira Knightley shone in.
