The Twilight Breaking Dawn — Part 2 premiere wasn’t Monday’s only red carpet fashion event.

On the other coast, A-listers celebrated women of style and substance at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Awards in New York City. At the magazine’s annual fete, the red carpet was filled with today’s top tastemakers — and their fabulous fashions.

Honorees Selena Gomez,  Lena Dunham, and J.Crew’s Jenna Lyons, as well as a bevy of A-list presenters and guests, including Julianna Margulies, Tyra Banks, Chelsea Clinton, made a fashionable appearance, as the magazine honored women who made a difference in 2012.

While sheer, emerald and oxblood lips were the red carpet’s top trends at the Twilight premiere, the fashion at Glamour‘s big red carpet event was far more eclectic, with the night’s leading ladies showing off their unique personal styles.

 

From sheer and lace to tuxedo pants and geometric prints, this fete was all about fearless females — and fashion.

The stars have headed north of the border for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this week, bringing some serious style power with them.
