‘Gossip Girl’ Revealed: Our 10 Favorite Twitter Reactions from Fans

Gossip Girl went out with a bang Monday night, wrapping up storylines that revolved around our favorite Upper East Siders.

Not only did Blair (Leighton Meester), Chuck (Ed Westwick), Dan (Penn Badgley), Serena (Blake Lively), Nate (Chace Crawford) and all the others live happily ever after, but fans also found out who’s been pulling the strings as Gossip Girl for the past six seasons. And they quickly took to the web to voice their opinions.

Note: Spoiler ahead if you haven’t seen the CW show’s final episode, “New York, I Love You, XOXO.”

Fans spent the evening discussing the Gossip Girl’s identity, and he was a trending topic late into the night. That’s right: Gossip Girl is a HE. The character, voiced by Kristen Bell, was revealed to be none other than Lonely Boy, Dan Humphrey.

Penn Badgley and Teresa Palmer walk back to their trailers after filming a few scenes for Parts Per Billion on Wednesday afternoon (December 5) in Detroit, Mich.

The actors, both 26, bundled up in warm coats as they shot scenes outside in the cold. At one point, Teresa and Penn, were both down on their knees in the frosty grass.
