Dem Babies are certified showstoppers!

Looking glamorous in a sparkling white dress, Mariah Carey made her New Year’s Day concert a family affair by bringing her twins, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, and hubby Nick on stage during a performance in Australia’s Gold Coast.

“Ms. Monroe greets the audience in Australia.. Thank u 4 coming!!” she shared on Twitter, posting a snapshot of the twins on stage.

The night before, Carey and Cannon got into party mode as they celebrated the arrival of 2013.

“Happy new year from Australia!!!!” the American Idol judge wrote.

After spending Christmas in Aspen, Colo., the family jetted Down Under, where they toured the Great Barrier Reef and explored the open waters on a spacious yacht.

The singer will wrap up her Australian tour with a final performance on Jan. 5.

Mariah Carey is going Down Under — with her husband and twins in tow.

Carey, Nick Cannon, and dem babies arrived in Australia on Friday via a private jet and extravagant boat, but sailing around the Great Barrier Reef isn’t the only part of the plan.

Carey is set to launch her first Australian tour in 15 years, starting Jan. 1 on the Gold Coast. The last time the new American Idol judge performed on the island was in 1998 during her Butterfly album tour.

After enjoying a family-filled Christmas in Aspen, the mother of twins Monroe and Morrocan — aka Roc and Roe — seemed eager to start her journey, tweeting a picture of her departure on Thursday and saying:

Her hubby, Cannon, shared the excitement, posting on his blog:

“We’re on a jet flying across the Equator! Going from cold to hot! Aspen to Australia to bring in 2013 right! Check out my beautiful wife resting up!”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Share Christmas Snapshots of Their Twins (PHOTOS)

The holidays are all about family — just ask powerhouse couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.

The duo has shared family photos of their 20-months-old twins Monroe and Moroccan opening their presents on Christmas.

Guess the Celeb Baby: Which Pop Star’s Daughter Played Dress-Up? (PHOTO)

Who’s this little pink lady?

Feeling stumped? Here’s a hint or two: She’s the daughter of one of Hollywood’s most beloved singers, and clearly has inherited her mother’s sense of style!

Read after the jump to check out this adorable fashionista!

Taking a break from her busy American Idol schedule, Mariah Carey tweeted a sweet snapshot of her daughter Monroe, 2o months, decked out in all-pink pajamas.  Topping off her festive ensemble: a matching pink bow, pacifier and strings of pearls.

“Ms Monroe seems to think sometimes pearls can be your best friends too: ),” Carey wrote alongside the photo.

As she raided her mom’s closet for a game of dress-up, little Monroe has certainly lived up to her girly demeanor. “She’s very dainty and she holds her own bottle. She’s Miss Independent, definitely Miss Independent,” Carey revealed during a Dec. 2011 interview.

And it looks like twin brother Moroccan got a share of the spotlight, too. Last week, Carey shared a photo of her pajama-clad baby boy getting ready for bed.
When it comes to showing the love for her children (also known “Dem Babies“), Carey and husband Nick Cannon haven’t shied away from giving their kids a taste of the finer things in life. Earlier this year, the couple treated their toddlers to a lavish, black-tie party in Paris in celebration of their very first birthday on April 30. The soiree included an array of gifts, including a toy Ferrari, rocking horse and miniature white piano.
Although Monroe and Moroccan are living the good life, Cannon wants his children to stay grounded. “I want my kids to understand that every child isn’t as fortunate as they are,” he told PEOPLE. “I want [them] to grow up helping others.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey Get It On to Her Music

For most people, the term “baby-making music” is associated with classic R&B acts like Barry White or Marvin Gaye — but then, most people aren’t married to Mariah Carey.

Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon, used his Dec. 11 appearance on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ to reveal a couple of choice tidbits about his sex life with the pop diva. On its face, this isn’t exactly surprising news — people have been opening up to Stern about their bedroom activities for decades — but Cannon took things in a special new direction when he admitted that his favorite music for those special moments is his wife’s greatest hits.

It’s kind of sweet, in a way, if you concentrate on the way it demonstrates Cannon’s devotion to Carey. And he’s definitely devoted, as he proved by telling Stern that he also pleasures himself to Carey’s songs — especially, um, ‘Hero’ — while she’s away. “Why not?” he shrugged, pointing out that “Sometimes you gotta be reminded of what’s at home.”

Stern, who’s working on ‘America’s Got Talent‘ with Cannon, half-jokingly wondered if he should avoid visiting Cannon’s dressing room if he heard Carey’s music through the door. Definitely, said Cannon: “When you hear Mariah playing, it’s going down.”

Nick Cannon Dishes on Diaper Duty + Mariah Carey’s ‘American Idol’ Feud

If you know anything at all about Mariah Carey, it should come as no surprise that she isn’t exactly the diaper-changing type. But her diva ways haven’t rubbed off on hubby Nick Cannon, who revealed in a recent Anderson Cooper interview (via Us Weekly) that when it comes to baby cleanup, he’s more than happy to, um, share the load.

“We all do it but for some reason, I get that duty a little bit more,” Cannon admitted when asked who handles the wipes for the couple’s 18-month old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. “I’m not scared of it. I go in, I put the gloves on.”

Cannon’s willingness to do parenthood’s dirty work extends to the rest of the messes the kids generate, too. “The kids run the house. We just running and chasing after them,” Cannon told Cooper. “My wife is being the diva that she is. I’m trying to keep up with them.”

With that out of the way, talk naturally turned to Carey’s much-publicized feud with fellow ‘American Idol‘ judge Nicki Minaj earlier this year. While praising his wife, who he called “the classiest and strongest woman I’ve ever met” and described as “handling it the way she’s supposed to handle it,” Cannon suggested that the blame for the fracas surrounding their on-set fight belongs to the showrunners. “I was a little disappointed with the producers, because that’s not what ‘American Idol’ is about,” he said, adding, “I felt like they fed off it a little bit.”

Nick Cannon Gushes Over His Kids at TeenNick HALO Awards: ‘My Son’s Playing Video Games Already’ (VIDEO)

Nick Cannon was all about the kids on Saturday — the teenagers he was honoring at an awards show, and his own twins, Roc and Roe.

“As a father it kind of turns open a whole different page because now it’s like you’re trying to set a fine example,” the 32-year-old told Celebuzz at the TeenNick HALO Awards.

The event, created, co-hosted and produced by Cannon, celebrates teenagers who make a difference in their communities.

“They need to be recognized,” Cannon said about the honorees.

Lucy Hale, Victoria Justice, Ne-Yo and Nicole Richie were just some of the big names that showed their support at Saturday’s event, held at the Hollywood Palladium.

Cannon’s wife, Mariah Carey, was also on hand for the big night. The couple, who have been married for four years, welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan in April 2011.

The family recently celebrated a “milestone,” Cannon dished on the red carpet.

“My son’s playing video games already . . . that’s crazy!” he said.

The 2012 TeenNick HALO Awards will air on Monday at 8PM ET on Nick at Nite.

Nick Cannon Weighs In on Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj’s ‘American Idol’ Feud: ‘I Was a Little Disappointed in the Producers’ (VIDEO)

Nick Cannon is standing by his gal.

The 32-year-old recently appeared on Anderson Coopers talk show to weigh in on his wife Mariah Carey‘s alleged feud with her fellow American Idol judge, Nicki Minaj.

“Oh man, I think it was what it was. A lot of theatrics and stuff. I guess I was a little disappointed in the producers because that’s not what American Idol is about,” Cannon said.

“I felt like they fed off of it a little bit. You know, people are always going to have disagreements and stuff, during the commercial you and I could have went at it, but the fact that someone was able to get a camera phone and take it out.”

The infamous exchange — in which Minaj, 29 threatened to “knock out” Carey, 42 — leaked online in early October. In the video, which was taken during an audition Charlotte, N.C., Minaj is heard dropping plenty of f-bombs, screaming, “I told them, I’m not f***in’ putting up with her f***in’ highness over there.”

Cannon explained of the situation, “I mean, yeah, clearly you can see that they are a very intense judging panel, but obviously everybody is interested in what the show is going to be about, and my wife is the classiest and the strongest woman that I’ve ever met, so she’s handling it the way she is supposed to handle it.”

Since then, more footage of Minaj dishing about the exchange has surfaced. In the second installment of her three-part E! series, Nicki Minaj: My Truth, the “Starships” rapper claims the leak footage and the supposed feud is “another ploy to get me off the show.”

“But we’re going to keep on moving. We’re having a great time on Idol. I love the producers; I love that they gave me a chance on the show,” she continued. “And ain’t nobody going to run me off that motherf***ing show.”

What do you make of Carey and Minaj’s feud: real drama or fictionalized fighting? Sound off below.

Nick Cannon on Mariah Carey Balancing ‘American Idol’ and Being a Working Mom: ‘She’s Superwoman’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Nick Cannon says that despite Mariah Carey’s new gig as a judge on American Idol, she hasn’t had trouble incorporating mommy time into her jam-packed schedule.

“It’s not tough. That’s Mariah Carey!” the 32-year-old told Celebuzz exclusively. “[She’s] superwoman; she can do it all.”

Cannon, who was on hand Wednesday at Maxim and Rock the Vote party to celebrate the launch of Assassin’s Creed III in Los Angeles, also revealed his favorite parts of watching the couple’s twins grow up.

“Hearing them talk, seeing them walk, all that stuff,” he beamed of Moroccan and Monroe, affectionately known as “dem babies.”

Another reason he’s glad to be a dad: “Being able to love someone unconditionally and have someone love you back.”

But with Carey’s Idol duties, who’s looking after dem babies? The America’s Got Talent host says he’s picking up the slack but refuses to call himself a babysitter.

“You can’t babysit your own children,” Cannon said. “I keep telling people that! They’re your children. You’re not a babysitter. But yeah, we switch off as we need to.”
