Adele Arrives in L.A. With Baby Boy Ahead of Golden Globes (PHOTOS)

Adele has landed.

Just days before she’s set to debut her post-baby body at the Golden Globe Awards, the Grammy-winning songstress stepped out at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, Calif., on Jan 10. But she didn’t jet in to the states solo: Adele cradled her baby boy in a blanket as a security team shielded them from photographers.

Dressed in a head-to-toe black ensemble, the new mom made her way to an awaiting car, without giving a glimpse of her son’s face.

Adele and her the bundle of joy — her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki – have remained mostly out-of-sight since the birth in October, last year.

Now the British pop star will return to the spotlight for the first time at the Globes, where her James Bond theme song “Skyfall” is nominated for Best Original Song.

Her hit single — which was named Best Song at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday — will vie against Taylor Swift‘s “Safe and Sound” from The Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi‘s “Not Running Anymore” from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban‘s “For You” from Act of Valor, and “Suddenly” from Les Miserables.

Then it’s on to the Academy Awards for Adele, where “Skyfall” will compete against the crème de la crème in the star-studded category for the Best Original Song Oscar: the Scarlett Johansson-sung “Before My Time” from Chasing Ice; the Norah Jones-sung and Seth MacFarlane-written “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” from Ted; “Pi’s Lullaby” from Life of Pi; and Hugh Jackman‘s heart-wrenching “Suddenly” from Les Misérables.

Not only is “Skyfall” a frontrunner for the Best Original Song statuette — and the first nominee in a decade to also been a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 — but James Bond will also be honored in a feature segment that pays tribute to the franchise’s 50th anniversary.

After hearing word of her nominations, Adele shared her joy on Twitter. “Oh my God I feel like Meryl Streep!,” she wrote to her 11 million followers. “Thank you x.”

Megan Fox to Twitter: I Quit!

After one week, over 250,000 followers, and a mere 12 tweets, Megan Fox‘s time on Twitter has come to an end.

“Some of you may, or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter account has been shut down,” she wrote Jan. 10 on her Facebook page, garnering 85,000 “likes” and counting. “I thought that 2013 might be the year that I finally blossomed into a social networking butterfly… but as it turns out I still hate it.”

“Love you guys,” she continued, “but I will just never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can handle. #I’m Sorry”

Just after the New Year, Fox signed up for her first-ever account on the ever-popular microblogging site. “Against my better judgment, I have finally joined Twitter,” she wrote on Facebook, adding in her first tweet that she was admittedly “late to the party.”

During her short-lived tweeting stint, the actress bemoaned the L.A. Lakers’ losing streak, shared about her mother-duty days of watching children’s flicks, swore it was “cool” to own a “life size R2D2,” and even threw in a little shameless self-promotion.

“I guess I should tell you guys to go see ‘This is 40′ while it’s still in theaters,” she wrote of her latest big-screen project. “@JuddApatow made a really funny movie. Promise.”

But before long, Fox, 26,  grew weary of the social media site. “5 days on Twitter and I have yet to discern it’s purpose,” she wrote on Jan. 9. “#WhatIsThePoint ???”

Now the new mother — who welcomed son Noah Sept. 27 with her husband, Wedding Band star Brian Austin Green, 39 — will shift her focus to the awards season, now in full swing. It was announced this week that Fox will hand out trophies at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony, joining a long star-studded list of presenters that includes George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Robert Pattinson, Jessica Alba, Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lopez and many more.

16 Stars Who Look Good and Feel Great Whatever Their Shape (PHOTOS)

It’s hard to stay confident when you’re constantly being scrutinized.

But some celebs don’t let Hollywood’s expectations affect their self-esteem, looking good — and feeling great — whatever their shape.

From Kim Kardashian, to Tyra Banks, these two television stars are a pair who have learned to embrace their curves. The latter, CW’s America’s Next Top Model star, is even proud to teach young girls the importance of  loving themselves and accepting their body flaws.

British songstress Leona Lewis, 27, has also opened up about weight woes.

“I wouldn’t lose weight for my career… and I wouldn’t have surgery either,” she told Closer magazine.

“I’m happy in my own skin. You have to be healthy and I’m proud of my curves. If I even tried to be a size zero I’d probably be dead. I’m too tall to be a stick-thin girl.”

What other A-listers are comfortable in their own skin?

Kate Hudson, 33, told UK’s The Telegraph, “I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect. The imperfections are there,” continuing, “People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once.”

Similar to Hudson, Christina Hendricks embraces her differences.

The Mad Men star, 37, told Grazia magazine, “I love my body as it is. People in the industry have been telling me to lose weight for years but I like the way I look.”

She added, “I give credit for my mother for helping me feel good about my appearance – for making sure I never felt embarrassed about my body, because she was never worried about looking too big.

“I started out as a model and when I went to Italy to build my book I gained 15 pounds from all the pastas and cappuccinos,” Hendricks said, continuing, “I saw my body change and I loved how it changed my appearance and how it made me look more womanly and sexy.”

Justin Bieber’s BFF Lil Twist Has Been ‘Changed by Fame,’ Says Family Friend (EXCLUSIVE)

Lil Twist and Justin Bieber

The rapper being labelled a bad influence on Justin Bieber has let fame “go to his head,” according to a longtime family friend.

Lil Twist – whose real name is Christopher Moore – has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons, appearing alongside Bieber, 18, in two online photos that show him holding a suspicious cigarette and sharing a drink with his pal.

“It is sad because he used to be such a nice quiet boy; I guess money and fame have gone to his head and changed him,” Pearl Winters, a family friend from Twist’s hometown of Dallas, told Celebuzz.

The 19-year-old was inside Bieber’s Newport Beach, Calif. hotel room when he was snapped smoking what looked to be a lot like a marijuana cigarette.

The incident happened less than 24 hours after paparazzi, Chris Guerra, was killed when he tried to take a photograph of the pop star’s white Ferrari.

Guerra, 29, was said to have thought Bieber was driving; instead, it was Twist who was driving the high-powered sports car.

Bieber and the rapper — who has “Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘n Roll” scrawled repeatedly on his Twitter page with him covered in a smoke haze — have been friends for years.

“Lil Twist is my homey and we’re working on stuff for fun,” Bieber told MTV News in 2010.

But after recent events, some Bieber fans are questioning whether the rapper is a bad influence on the singer.

On Jan. 1, the rapper posted a photo on Facebook and Twitter of himself, standing next to Bieber while pouring what appeared to be champagne into two glasses.

Following the missive, one fan wrote on Twitter: “I hate you! You give bad influence to @justinbieber! Just stay away from him.”

Winters, a family friend, said she remembered Twist not as a bad influence, instead as a “respectful and shy boy” who was teased by other kids because of his height.

“He comes from a good family and wasn’t a bad boy who ran around in gangs or anything like that,” she said.

“Christopher liked music and rapping and he was very talented – his grandmother phoned me and told me when he was going to appear on television when his career took off.

“I just hope that he does not make anymore bad decisions because the person I knew was not a bad kid.”

There’s no denying that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi loves her ink — but what do her famous tattoos really mean?

The former Jersey Shore star has taken to her Celebuzz blog to help dissect the meaning behind each piece of body art. On Monday, the 25-year-old wrote about the crown tat that’s located on her upper left arm.

She told fans:

This was my very first arm tattoo and I was SO nervous for it , but it ended up coming out amazing and one of my fav tattoos! I also got this done in Vegas, and I wanted a crown to represent being a strong independent woman. I also added in a tiny cross on the top for remembering my loved ones that passed but also being Catholic. I incorporated a bow into it to represent how girly I am, and also because I love bows in my hair. Duh.

XOXO

Aside from the crown, the mom-of-one also has stars and a leopard with wings tattooed on her body.
