Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are Expecting

In case you haven’t heard, it’s apparently the season of getting pregnant in Hollywood. Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are the latest couple to announce that they’re expecting. TooFab has more on the happy couple and their exciting news.

Flashback Friday: Newlywed Jamie Bell in ‘Billy Elliot’ (VIDEO)

A big congratulations to Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood! The adorable pair tied the knot this week after seven years of on-again, off-again dating.

Wood likely had the chance to say her piece about her other half in her vows, but we wanted to remind the world why we fell in love with Jamie Bell.

So, as a wedding gift to the couple, this week’s Flashback Friday features Bell, 26, in the title role of 2000‘s Oscar-nominated ballet-flick, Billy Elliot.

At the mere age of 14, a young Bell was chosen from 2,000 hopefuls to play Billy, a character not unlike himself.

Billy is an English boy with big dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer. Despite his father Jackie’s (Gary Lewis) disapproval, and societal pressure to play “boy sports,” he secretly takes dance lessons and works towards his goal.

Bell, who started dancing at the age of six, told the Guardian how closely he related to the character. “That wasn’t really acting to me,” he said in a 2011 interview. “That was my life. I’d put ballet shoes down my pants to hide them from my friends. I’d done all this before.”

It’s no wonder his performance is so genuine!

In this clip, Billy dances for his father for the very first time. Ultimately, Jackie is so touched by his son’s grace, he can’t help but be supportive.

Watch as Bell pours his heart into dance in his breakthrough role.

Evan Rachel Wood Marries Jamie Bell

Evan Rachel Wood is off the market!

The 25-year-old Thirteen actress tied the knot with Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell, 26, on Tuesday, Wood’s rep confirmed to Celebuzz.

“It was a small ceremony with close family and friends,” stated Wood’s rep.

The blushing bride wore a custom-made gown by couture designer Carolina Herrera during the California nuptials.

The couple started dating in 2005 while filming the music video for Green Day’s song “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Wood was previously engaged to goth rocker Marilyn Manson on-and-off from 2006 to 2010, before reconnecting with her current beau, Bell.

Wood and Bell aren’t the first celebrity couple to wed in secret. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds hosted a hush-hush ceremony at Boone Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina Sept. 10, while Anne Hathaway said “I do” to longtime beau Adam Shulman in a lavish ceremony held in Big Sur, Calif. late last month.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel flew their guests to Germany then on to Italy for their undercover nuptials.
