Marcia Cross George Cloony and Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman Jessica Alba Mariah Carey Jenna Elfman

Whether they’re dining out or on a shopping spree, the stars know how to bundle up in style as they hit the streets from coast to coast on Wednesday.

Jessica Alba kept warm in an olive green coat, complete with faux fur detail, as she left trendy eatery Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 31-year-old brunette beauty looked refreshed and tanned, thanks to a recent getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where the actress soaked up some sun with hubby Cash Warren and their daughters, Honor, 4, and Haven, 16 months.

On the East Coast, Anne Hathaway took a stroll along Madison Avenue in NYC wearing an winter ensemble complete with a billowy blue scarf, beanie and tan-colored coat.

Just the night before, the 30-year-old Les Miserables star donned a gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent tux for the annual National Board of Review Awards Gala, where her critically-acclaimed film was awarded with the prize for Best Ensemble.

Also in the Big Apple, a clean-shaven Andrew Garfield was spotted checking out of his hotel as a car waited nearby. The 29-year-old actor will soon be back at work on the The Amazing Spider-Man set slated for a May 2014 release.

In other celeb sightings, Hilary Duff enjoyed a pilates workout in Toluca Lake, Calif. The 25-year-old, who gave birth to her baby boy Luca about nine months ago, has been hard at work getting her pre-pregnancy body back.

“Working hard with my girl Viv @piloxing kicking my butt!” she wrote on Twitter.

Oz on Earth: Where Celebs Go to Get Away From it All (PHOTOS)

Wouldn’t it be great to find your own “Oz on Earth?”

Celebrities who can afford the luxury have scoured the globe to create their own private Oz in some of the most breathtaking and exotic locales on the planet.

Whether it’s the Kardashian sisters living the good life in Miami, Florida, or Josh Duhamel and Fergie chilling out in St. Barths, the stars featured in today’s Celebuzz gallery have found the most exclusive, paparazzi-free (sometimes) places to spend their holidays with family and friends.

Necker Island in the Caribbean was purchased in the late 1990′s by British mogul Sir Richard Branson.  Since then, celebrities such as Steven Spielberg have rented out the entire island for their special getaways.  What the island lacks in size, it makes up for in exclusivity, which is why it has become such a sought after destination among Hollywood’s elite.

Miley Cyrus, Sarah Jessica Parker and Stacy Keibler: Hottest Star Sightings of the Day (PHOTOS)

Who run the world? Girls!

The ladies were out in full effect over the weekend, with Sunday mother-daughter strolls and award shows solely dedicated to honoring the divas of the music industry.

Miley Cyrus showed off her killer figure in a slinky black dress at the VH1 Divas 2012 concert at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The blonde pop star did her best Billy Idol impression during her performance by singing “Rebel Yell” while fully clad in leather and chains.

Stacy Keibler was also at Divas 2012 – and looking nothing short of stunning.

George Clooney’s girlfriend went for a cleavage-baring power suit for the celebration that paid tribute to recently departed music legends Donna Summer and Whitney Houston.

Sarah Jessica Parker spent Sunday with her daughters, Marion and Tabitha. The mother-of-three looked happy to be home after a drama-filled trip to Norway.

As the Sex and the City star prepared to board a United flight from Oslo to Newark, New Jersey with her team, her makeup artist was stopped just before take-off.

The alleged shoplifter was arrested by Norwegian police and detained for snatching two pairs of glasses from an airport boutique just before the lunchtime flight departed, Norwegian police attorney Jom Letnes told Celebuzz.

“The woman who was arrested was with Sarah Jessica’s party and she was found in possession of two pairs of glasses that she had taken from an airport shop,” said Letnes.

“Police officers prevented her from boarding the flight and she was taken for questioning where she accepted a fine of 8000 Krones ($1420.03 U.S. dollars) before being released.

Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Craig, George Clooney: Hunks Who Got Their Start in Sci-Fi/Fantasy Films (PHOTOS)

Of all the harsh realities made clear by the gender gap, perhaps the truest is that – as of this Friday – girlfriends everywhere will be dragged reluctantly to see The Hobbit. This time, however, Peter Jackson’s journey through Middle Earth has been stripped of its eye-candy, swapping Orlando Bloom and Viggo Mortensen for a handful of dwarves, Dr. Watson and a geezer. While the movie will no doubt be epic, the real scenery will undoubtedly be just that: the actual scenery.

All of which made us consider just how many dramatic, respected and handsome leading men – prime examples of non-nerd masculinity – actually made some of their biggest breakthroughs in sci-fi, fantasy and all-around geek adventures. Read on to find out…

Click here to launch the gallery of gorgeous leading men who made their bones in genre movies.

Many of the actors on Celebuzz’ list certainly had credits prior to their turns in fantasy films – Mortensen worked steadily as a supporting player for more than a decade before striking paydirt with the Lord of the Rings series, for example.

And although many of them have gone on to even greater glories, they first became popular in the public consciousness because of these projects. On the other hand, some of them may never surpass the success they enjoyed with these films and film series. But as cinephiles and avid filmgoers, we’re only too happy to celebrate – and maybe in a few cases, reintroduce – the sci-fi-, horror and fantasy films that helped the world fall in love with them.

Which of these hunks is your favorite — or which appeared in your favorite fantasy film? Keep the discussion going in the comments section after watching the theatrical trailer for The Hobbit below!

John Krasinski Wants To Have ‘Bromance’ With Matt Damon: 12 Famous Male Friendships (PHOTOS)

Ben Affleck better watch his back: John Krasinski is on a mission to become Matt Damon’s BFF.

“I would love to have a bromance with him,” Krasinski told PEOPLE magazine on Tuesday.

“But I don’t even know if I could even use the word ‘bromance’ because he and Ben are so tight and like a married couple that I’ll never get in there.”

The 33-year-old actor stars in the new Gus Van Sant film Promised Land opposite Damon, 42, who also shares producing and screenwriting duties with The Office alum.

While Krasinski can continue to dream big about his new buddy, he’s got some big Hollywood bromance shows to follow.

There’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, whose tight-knit circle also includes Entourage star Kevin Connolly. Next May, DiCaprio and Maguire will reunite on screen in Baz Luhrman’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.

“I’m at the stage in my life and I’m married and have children, so I don’t get to see my buddies as much as I’d like and just the fact I was forced to see one of my best friends everyday was fantastic,” Maguire told Celebuzz in October about working with his pal.

“Then, I got to go to work with one of our greatest actors and be inspired by him. So, I felt very grateful for that time. It was great.”

George Clooney and Brad Pitt have also sustained one of the industry’s longest friendships. But as Pitt gets ready to marry his longtime love Angelina Jolie, it looks like the Ocean’s Eleven actor will look elsewhere for life advice.

“What can [Clooney] tell me? Other than how to protect my liver!” Pitt told PEOPLE in November.

Over the years, the small screen has also seen bromances blossom between the likes of Zach Braff and his Scrubs pal Donald Faison, and Jon Stewart and his former Daily Show correspondent Stephen Colbert, who of course now has his own program.

Promised Land, starring John Krasinski and Matt Damon, will open in limited release Dec. 28.

Matt Damon In Talks for George Clooney’s ‘Monuments Men’ (REPORT)

George Clooney has already enlisted James Bond for his next film. Now, he’s looking to recruit Jason Bourne.

Matt Damon is in talks to join the period thriller The Monuments Men, a film directed and co-written by the Oscar winner, according to Deadline.

The Bourne Ultimatum star is negotiating for an unspecified role in the World War II flick, which centers on a crew of art historians that must infiltrate Nazi Germany to retrieve valuable art stolen by the Third Reich.

Should Damon sign on, he will join an impressive cast that includes 007 himself, Daniel Craig, along with Cate Blanchett and Bill Murray.

Clooney wrote the script with producing partner and writer Grant Heslov (Good Night, and Good Luck). Monuments Men reunites Damon and Clooney, who were last seen together onscreen in 2007’s Ocean’s 13.

Charlie Sheen, Jude Law, George Clooney: Top 10 Celebrity Quotes of the Week (GALLERY)

“In a weird way, it’s kind of a relief to think, ‘Oh, I know I’m not that young sort of pretty thing anymore.’ It’s quite nice talking about what it was like to be the young pretty thing, rather than being it.”

Which seasoned star said he is retiring his title as Hollywood’s hottest?

Was it or Charlie Sheen, Jude Law, or George Clooney?

Find out in Celebuzz’s top quotes of the week.

Which handsome actor said he has outgrown being the pretty young thing?

It was Jude Law!

The 39-year-old English actor has been known as one of Hollywood’s reigning heartthrobs. But now, he is finally ready to throw in the towel.

In an interview with T, The New York Times Style Magazine, the Anna Karenina star verbally dethrones himself — and he seems relieved about it.

Law has received constant recognition for his charmingly good-looks throughout his career, most notably being named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2004. He was also previously linked to bombshell Sienna Miller, gaining the unofficial title of “most beautiful couple,” before a nanny scandal and inevitable split.

He may be over it, but we’re not sure we’re ready to let him retire.

Do you still consider Jude Law eye candy? Sound off in the comments below.

George Clooney Wanted for Amy Winehouse Biopic

The father of late singer Amy Winehouse wants George Clooney to play him in a biopic about his daughter.

Mitch Winehouse — who shares the Ocean’s 12 star’s silvery hair colour — is adamant any studio taking on the project should make sure they recruit someone “handsome” for his role.

When asked if the film was still in the works, the former taxi driver said: “I dare say … who’s going to play me, George Clooney? I mean they’ve got to get someone good and handsome. But they’ll probably end up with Ray Winstone or someone like that knowing my luck.”

It had been rumored Lady Gaga could play Amy — who was found dead in her London home in 2011 — in the movie, but while Mitch likes her as a person, he isn’t sure she’s right for the role.

He told reporters in London: “I mean Lady Gaga, if she wants to come and audition for it… I’ve met her parents a number of times, she’s a lovely girl and all this stuff like, prawns on her head, when she goes home she doesn’t wear raw meat on her head.

“Her mum says she puts her sneakers on and her tracksuit and sits on the couch and eats chocolates like everyone else. She’s a nice kid and her parents are just ordinary Italian working class people and she loves her mum and dad and she loves her grandparents.

“She’s the same as Amy – she’s a nice kid, very nice young lady. She still can’t play Amy though.”

How did Amy die? Watch the video below for the findings on her death.
