Although it’s still unclear exactly what ghosts in Georgia have to do with spooky stuff in New England, a young woman seems to be struggling with strange and terrifying visions in Haunting in Connecticut 2.
Subtitled Ghosts of Georgia, the sequel follows a couple who moves to the South, only for their daughter to begin experiencing weird visions and unexplained phenomena in their new house.
In a new clip exclusive to Celebuzz, the young woman, Lisa (Abigail Spencer) is curled up in a bathtub, only to find herself being attended to by a ghostly woman offering some maternal advice.

A badass criminal and two witch-hunting siblings are set to challenge one very pissed-off ghost mom for the box office crown.
This weekend’s Box Office Battle finds last weekend’s champ, Jessica Chastain‘s horror film Mama, duking it out with new releases Parker and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. It might be slim pickings at the multiplex this weekend, but one of these films will have bragging rights come Monday.

According to news released today, director J.J. Abrams will henceforth be placed in charge of every blockbuster franchise beginning with the word “Star.” Abrams has reportedly signed onboard to direct Star Wars Episode VII, a title what was until several months ago considered an unlikely sequel, at best, The Wrap reported Thursday.

First, Ron Howard announced that he was in talks to adapt Neil Gaiman‘s The Graveyard Book. Now, the director is reportedly circling another novel to turn into a movie: The Heart of the Sea. Howard could start shooting Sea as early as this fall for Warner Bros., re-teaming the director with Chris Hemsworth, the star of Howard’s upcoming Formula-One racing drama, Rush.
